The pros also make the same mistake. In this FO, Roddick broke the string
during the point and just kinda gave up the point he was playing and rushed
to change the racket. John Mcenroe pointed it out and mentioned that they
did do some research in Florida about how many shots you can continue to hit
with the broken string with the same pace...

发帖数: 13172 | 10 不会吧，俺现在全用poly。不过不同的poly也差很多，建议你用软一点的poly，比如
technifibre black code,或者MSV Focus Hex,都很好打。如果银子多，那就硬poly+
natural gut，无敌组合。不过真的很贵哦

发帖数: 11850 | 14 礼拜二晚上比赛不是打断线了吗，ld给上了买机器送的gamma线里最贵的一根zo poly。
我以前也曾是竖线poly横线nxt，但后来cross实在太容易断了，就干脆全部换成nxt.
那个线的手感很脆，和poly差很远。其实ld上的不算太硬，问题就出在软上。感觉反弹
起来慢半秒，和我挥拍最快的速度点接不上。拉轻了掉在发球线靠前，超好攻；拉重了
就出界。打得那叫一个郁闷，发球越到后面想调整反而越狂多双误。就那样输给老威，
我实在是太不服了。本来一定有一拼的。老威确实很猛，超强上旋打两个很深的角，扑
上来靠网一米内也能拉到球，且本人是high school team coach，mental 也超强，还
会拖拖拉拉控制场上节奏。但我也决不是没机会的。唉，罢了罢了。其斯沃勒~~

发帖数: 1247 | 18 当初刚拿到还不怎么会穿，就上了zo，偏偏又穿的是最费线的radical os 18X19，结果
最后一根cross拉磅的时候线不够长悲剧了。 打了几次tension松的就不能打了，但是
第一次打，那个手感真是好。另外这个z好像不是很耐磨，第一次打完，上面的磨损就
很明显了。

I only used syn gut so far. I asked a question on the board
before - if there is any reason for me to switch to poly, as
I break strings very infrequently. Nobody seemed to encourage
me to switch...

No. 2 is slow tension loss after the first few days.
No.3 is durability.
Besides it is not as arm unfriendly as many people thought.
Now my LD is using poly too,Kirschbaum Pro Line II 18L (1.15)
If you are so worried about you arm, you should at least give this one a
shot.

one racket using poly and have a try sometime.
Other reasons not so attractive for me. I don't have elbow issues.

我一个hurricane和lux的hybrid穿58，打了一年，最后应该差不多50lb。越到后面手感
越好，最后觉得时间实在太长，最近剪了。重新穿了58，打了一段时间，控制和稳定性
还是比以前差不少。
