If you are like many tennis players, you don't always have the time to
practice as extensively as you would like. It may be that work or other
commitments limit you, or it could be that you can only secure an hour of
court time at your club. Whatever the reason, you want to get the absolute
most out of your hour. Aimless hitting or even playing a set won't cut it!
So, what can you do?

intensive workout requires
(1) 2 players have very good self-disciplined. You and your partner may keep
it like 2 or 3 times but after that, either of you or both will get bored
or loose, what the heck, we just play tennis for fun, why do we make so hard
to ourselves? then you will go back to normal...
Just like marathon training, it is too easy to give up in the middle by
yourself. It requires mental toughness to keep yourself

像我这样水平的还是觉得在教练的指导下,一星期上一个小时的Private lesson或者两
个星期一个小
时。纠正一下动作,再做练习或者比赛比较好一些。
我的想法就是错误的动作重复再多....还是错误的。

我打到3.5才开始练正手,4.0练反手,如果能上4.5的话就要练发球了~~

it is expensive at NJ though i can find cheaper lesson on craiglist. I am
not sure the coachs listed on craiglist are good.

我的Private Lesson CAD$30/hour
不过我的教练是三年前在Group lesson里就带我的。现在我们一起代表俱乐部打俱乐部
之间的比赛,他也经常看我打单打,所以上课的针对性比较强。 |

When it is a routine, it is not that boring.
Normally i count for the rally and i try to keep the ball deep but still in
play. If the ball is out, i will still try to save it. It is kind of
challenge to make the longest rally.
It is all about consistency, and you have to put the ball in play all the
time while try to give your partner some trouble...
But the key is, you need more tennis balls so you dont break the rhythm...
