三年前，代表八位参赛大师的八尊兵马俑成为上海大师杯赛的最闪亮名片，如今则已被
温布尔登博物馆永久收藏。而今秋十月，当球迷们走进上海ATP1000大师赛举办地旗忠
网球中心时，他们会在“冠军大道”两旁再度看到五尊兵马俑雕像——费德勒、休伊特
、德约科维奇、纳尔班迪安与达维登科。
他们是五届上海大师杯赛以及去年上海大师赛的冠军得主，虽然目前人数不多，但却是
上海打造“百年大师赛”一个漂亮的开端。当十多年甚至几十年过去后，当几代网球明
星的兵马俑雕像排满了“冠军大道”时，那将是上海网球一段立体的历史呈现。
本周四下午，记者随部分沪上媒体采访了此次五尊兵马俑雕像的两位创作者、陈道坦与
陈海燕父子，并且参观了他们工作室中尚未完成的作品。费德勒被给予了格外的“关照
”，率先被制作成玻璃钢的成品；而其他四位球员目前则还处于头像泥塑阶段，材料用
的是宜兴出产的专业泥土，接下来还要经过细节修改和深度刻画、翻模、注型以及涂色
等阶段。
同2007年中法艺术家的那次合作相比，此次父子创作的最大不同同时也是最大挑战便是
——他们是在没有面对面见过真人的情况下完全凭借球员各个角度的照片来创作

btw for sure will attend party this year - matter of how many ppl are coming
from Columbus for us to decide whether to carpool vs. flying in. carpool
has the added benefit of able to take along several coolers for shopping
purposes... :D

tried to hook up a few times this week but either he couldn't find time or i
couldn't or weather sucks.
Maybe cooler full of beer coming to NYC and cooler full of Chinese food
coming from NYC.... haha
