Jan 23 is the Chinese New Year's Day. We will have our tennis
tournament in Dobson High School tennis courts on Jan 14 and 15, the
last weekends before Dragon Year at the same place as last year
tournament. Dobson Ranch tennis courts will be the backup courts. If
you have never been there before, please google the high school on the
map or email us for driving directions.
The kick-off game will be at 11am. As always, anybody is welcome to
the tournament. Please forward the words to your friends, colleagues.
This year we will host Double and Men's Single games. The Men's Single
will be the same as last year. The Double will be a little different.
It will mostly focus on fun. There won't be any gender or age limit.
We'd like to have not only Federer/Nadal team but also father/son
team, husband/wife team. Each player could register either single or
double or both games. And everyone is encouraged to find your own
double partner in advance. Those who can't find double partner will be
randomly matched when registration ends. The rules stay the same as
last year. One set for each match with tie break and the winer
advances to next round. Two games winning in finals.
We'll limit the total players within 32 just in case too many
participating. The Single will be on Saturday and Double on Sunday.
The Single final schedule would be at players wish. The draws of the
first rounds of both Single and Double will performed randomly by
computer and the rest rounds by players on site.
The registration fees are $10 per adult player and $5 per kid
player(under 16) in cash and not refundable. All the money collected
will be spent on water, balls, souvenirs and champion/runner up
trophies. And we will have free pizza this year!
The tournament registration will begin today and end on Jan 02. Please
send me an email to register. I will reply your email with a
registration confirmation. If you don't receive the confirmation
within 24 hours please email me h**********[email protected] again or
call/text my cell, 480-829-0688.
Every Saturday we practice in DR tennis courts. Please try to bring
the registration fee there after you register or give it to Zhihu Zou,
z******[email protected].
Please respect the DHS/DR tennis court rules and other non-event
players on the courts if any. And every player does release Mu En
Fellowship and the event staffs from any liability for any injury or
claims in relation to the tournament. | n********r
