1) DBA: register your company name with county, cost $35, then you can start
your business, when you file your personal tax the end of year, include
your business income and cost in your tax under your social. you don't need
to file Texas state franchise tax report(right?)
2) LLC: register your company name with state, cost $300, then you can start
your business, if you don't hire anyone, you don't even need a EIN tax
number, you can file your tax just like DBA(file under your social), but
every year you have to file Texas state franchise tax report.
3) LLC owners aren’t held liable for any credits or liabilities his/her
company incurs, since it’s a separate entity, while DBA owners take the
full responsibility, and are accountable for all his/her company’s assets
and liabilities.

you are misleading. the term here "SELF-EMPLOYED" is different then your so-
called self employed with no employees.
the SELF-EMPLOYED here means contractor who receive 1099 to file tax return.
Any company entity should have EIN, employer identification number as it's
ID. that's your tax id number to report tax.
This is like the term DEPENDENT in tax return:
" Do you have dependent? how many?"
"Yes, 2, my parents in China are retired, they are depeding on me"
