interview (based on their website). Good that they provide mailing service
after the passport is renewed.
How about you? From TX?

there.not too bad. the day when i was there , there were not many people
waiting. I finished up the process within 1.5 hrs including waiting for them
to call my name to get the receipt. |

发帖数: 900 | 7 大概两个月前发帖在本版问关于去休斯顿中国领事馆换护照的问题，今天收到新护照，
于是发帖更新一下大概过程。
（1）上领馆官网下载并填好表格。
（2）复印好需要的文件，买好$60 money order （其中 5块是处理邮寄的费用）and
express mail envolope/stamp.
(3) 领馆上下午都上班，但时间很短，所以要看好时间才去。
（4）领馆周围很多街道都可以免费街趴停车，不一定要停在指定的地方。我当时就停
在正门对面的那条街道上，没事。
（5）我花了20块在领馆照相，其实是为了省麻烦。就等几分钟相片就好了。
（6）不到15分钟我就把材料交完。拿到便条说11月9号寄到。
（7）新旧护照今天收到，从提交材料到今天不到一个月。
总的来说，换护照是小钱，机票酒店是大钱。建议远途去休斯顿换护照的朋友顺便计划
一两天在市区好好玩玩，否则这机票车钱油钱酒店钱花的太浪费。 休斯顿的大华很不
错，让我们农村小市民开了眼界。惠康的老鼠石斑鱼才5刀一棒，实在是让人羡慕休斯
顿的华人生活多么美好。至此。

发帖数: 11039 | 10 提醒下，停车还是要多注意下，不要停在领馆后面商店广场的车位上，会被拖的。 |

最好停领馆东南的路边，只要没有"No Parking"就行。
