标 题: Can I get my money back in this situation?

I am in Cancun right now and three days ago we reserved a trip to a park for
today. The amount is about $240 for two ppl. Unfortunately, I hurt my
ankle yesterday so we cannot go there today.
This morning we still showed up on time for the bus and told to the bus
driver our situation, he said it is ok and we can talk to the agent to get
money back.
I asked the agent to do the refund, that guy said in my case I need to show
them the doctor's proof to get full refund. He said the term was on the
receipt. They require cancellation made 24 hrs before the trip if something
happens within 24 hrs, they need doctor's proof.
Now the real question is, does FIA amex approve this kind of dispute claim?
Technically they just follow their rules but the rule is bs to me. |
