始流行起来了。我刚收到一个邻居群里的邮件：
“As i was driving down Greenbriar yesterday from 59 I was flagged down by a
car full of "folks" who were gesturing and pointing to my right rear tire.
Seemed it was on the verge of coming off (as I was informed when we were
stopped at the light with then along side). As I did not feel any thing
wrong in the handling of the car and given the that the "folks" in the car
seems suspicious I passed on their offer to "pull over and we will help you
with you tire" and when safely away from them pulled into the parking lot at
House of Coffee Beans to check the tires. Of course nothing was wrong with
my car. Now I should note that given recent neck surgery I'm wearing a soft
neck collar and probably looked like an easy mark... that said, be careful
out there. We do live in the big city.”
“A person in my office found out through their neighborhood website (
Alabama at Mid Lane) that the same thing happened to a neighbor today on
Weslayan. Sounded like exactly the same situation. Person, with others in
the car, offering help to the driver with the "wheel that was about to fall
off" said he was a certified Goodyear mechanic. The person with the "bad
tire" pulled into an Exxon and saw nothing wrong with his tire. I didn't
catch the cross street on Weslayan. ” |
