sidewalk on the north side of University Boulevard east of Travis Street.
The suspect approached the victim and asked to use his cellphone to call his
parents. The suspect then simulated that he was carrying a weapon in the
front pocket of his shorts and threatened to use violence if the victim did
not hand over his phone and money, but no weapon was ever displayed. The
victim gave him his cellphone and a few dollars. The suspect then headed
east toward Fannin Street. He was described as a bald black male in his
early 20s, wearing a white T-shirt, shorts and socks with no shoes. He is
about 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs about 140 pounds.
