但老公准备辞职创业.他如果工作,也能找个和我工资相当的职位.
我大概在redfin上看了下,westlake hills太贵了.78733交通似乎不太方便.请问大家,
lost creek (78746) 如何,房产税还低. 我目前工作地离78746近,但以后也可能在
78759附近工作. 在哪里买房子比较好? 另外,有没什么austin买房论坛之类的.我想多
了解下austin各个地方的情况.

0.5%。

Austin are Westlake (78746) and Westwood (78759/78750).
Don't take my words for it, look it up yourself:

So if you don't want to stay in westlake hills, and school district is of
importance to you, then the choice is simple.
Btw., ppl will tell you there are a lot of "good" schools in Austin, which
is true - but out of all public schools, none come within a few hundred
ranks nationally of those two above in Austin.
Austin is a vibrant city and there's development everywhere. In general
however I feel the job scene is growing more in the central/north direction
than south. IBM and Dell are up north. And Apple is expanding and building
its own building near the 78750 area. Down south I am sure plenty of small
companies exist, but the only big ones I am aware of are AMD, AMAT, and
free-scale. |

valuable?
of the 3 types of schools, elementary, middle, and high, high school is
usually of higher importance b/c of its direct relevance to college entrance
- after all getting into a good college is the main reason for attending a
good school district, which makes it more valuable, right?
Canyon Vista Middle School (78750/9), Spicewood(78750)/Laurel Moutain(78759)
Elementary, are all at the top of Austin school ranking too:

the middle/elementary schools in Westlake are excellent as well - again, it'
s the HS that carries the most reputation for a school district.

50万绝对没问题。按照贷款是收入3倍计算，可以负担 70-80万的房子了。并且你劳工
也可能很快就有收入，一步到位吧。如果你劳工收入也有，80万绝对没问题。
westlake和lost creek都是生活便利，离市中心/shopping places近,小孩上学及上兴
趣课都很方便。lostcreek中国人多些，小区感强，有些设施和小区服务不错，对面就
是HEB, westlake village shopping center。
westlake (north of 360, between beecave road and mopac, east of beecave road
and west of mopac)好处是离初中近, 最近也开始有中国人搬进去了。
west lake Hills (west of beecave road and north of 360 and east part
adjacent to 360) 都是豪宅，地大，人少,生活不太便利.
