Job Description：
The main function of the IT Systems Administrator is to install, configure,
and support software and tools within the technical infrastructure of the
organization. The incumbent is responsible for monitoring the network to
ensure availability to all system users and perform necessary maintenance
and issue resolution.
Job Responsibilities:
Maintain and administer computer networks and related computing environments
including computer hardware, systems software, applications software, and
all configurations.
Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, or other network and
system problems, and replace defective components when necessary on/off-
shift and during weeknds.
Configure, monitor and maintain email applications or virus protection
software.
Work with vendors on integration of purchased application solutions.
Required Skills
Verbal and written communication, problem solving, customer service and
interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage one’s time as well as well as
being a collaborative team member.
Basic ability to identify, interpret and evaluate system and network
requirements.
Strong ability to troubleshoot issues and make system changes as needed to
resolve issues.
Basic knowledge of computer hardware and software and its related
infrastructure components and/or operating environment such as the following
LINUX, AIX Server Admins, Windows PC or desktop admins, Citrix, Basis.
Ability to set up printers as well as troubleshoot printing issues.
Ability to set up IPT office phones including moves, adds and changes.
Ability to assist end-users with basic training on PC hardware and software.
Knowledge of routers, switches and wireless network technologies.
Ability to lift 35 pounds and install equipment under desks.
Ability to learn new technology quickly including the ability to read and
quickly understand technical documentation.
Strong focus on customer satisfaction.
Ability to maintain positive working relationships with end-users and peers.
Required Experience：
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent training.
0-2 years' experience required.
Minimum 3 years' experience supporting IT clients in a corporate/
professional environment.
Experience imaging and supporting desktop and laptop computers.
Experience in the support of Windows 7.
Experience supporting Microsoft Office 2010 Suite or better, including Word,
Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Access.
Experience troubleshooting and diagnosing problems over the phone.
Desktop experience.
Experience with troubleshooting wireless networking, printing, etc.
