貌似政策变了？我的REGISTRATION是6月底到期，但是年检其实应该是8月底才到期。那
我必需马上就做好年检才能ONLINE RENEW REGISTRATION?

时候拿年检的报告一起去做registration。

How It Works: Do the Two Step
Ready for “Two Steps, One Sticker?” Follow the moves:
Step 1: From March 1, 2015 through February 29, 2016, you may renew your
registration if your vehicle has a current, passing inspection. However, if
your inspection and registration stickers both expire in the same month your
vehicle will need to pass inspection prior to registration renewal. To find
your nearest inspection station, please visit the Texas Department of
Public Safety’s (DPS) website.
Step 2: Renew your annual registration online, by mail, or in-person at your
county tax office. At the time of registration, your inspection status will
be verified electronically. A current, passing inspection is required for
registration renewal.
Starting March 1, 2016, you will have a convenient 90-day window to complete
both your inspection and registration. Remember, your registration is valid
through the last day of the registration expiration month. |

车铺年检，被告知现在不能年检，要在registration过期前90天内做才有效。另外旧的
sticker也被撕去了。 |

registration (没有做annual inspection ），那我今年还要不要做annual

If you receive the new registration sticker(expires July 2016), you don't
need to do annual safety inspection until July next year when you renew
registration that time.

纸，证明通过年检），但是要11月才需要更新registration，当时做年检的时候，没有
人告诉我年检必须在registration过期前90天才需要做。按这意思是，我10月份还得再
做一次年检才能更新registration？
可以要求dealer重新给我免费做吗？（他向我隐瞒了提前做年检无效的信息，或者他没
有起到告知的义务）。
