发帖数: 1100 | 1 换了份在北卡的临时工作（1年），理论上是换北卡的驾照，title，保险，但是感觉很
麻烦，几个月以后再换工作又得重新来一遍。而且现在的保险和registration还有半年
有效期，驾照还有好几年有效期（如果换新驾照有效期就只有一年了，opt i20的原因
），
所以一开始我想着不去换驾照，只犹豫着要不要在北卡register车。但是看了北卡DMV
，要register车就得先有北卡驾照。
看了一些网页，感觉就现在这样，什么都不变似乎也不是不可行。

现在的疑问是：
1.当前的registration明年2月过期，现在registration和inspection tag合二为一之
后德州的DMV能收到别州的inspection通过证明吗（https://www.dps.texas.gov/rsd/
vi/texasRegVeh.htm 这个DPS）。因为德州规定inspection不能早于90天（http://twostepsonesticker.com/motorists）所以这次开车走时候不能为明年做inspection
2.如果收不到别州的inspection，根据http://twostepsonesticker.com/motorists也是可以register的，需要自己self-certify车在外州就可以网上注册了（以前注册时候点太快，没注意这个选项，想跟大家确认一下是有这个勾选项？还是需要提交一份证明）
Out of State Motorists
If your vehicle is currently out of state and you are unable to complete a
Texas vehicle inspection in order to renew your registration, you may self-
certify that the vehicle is out of state and will be permitted to register
online, by mail, or in person.
If you renew your vehicle registration using the out-of-state self-
certification option, a remark will be placed on your vehicle record
indicating that an inspection is still due. Once you return to the state,
you must complete a Texas vehicle inspection within three days of arrival at
your home, duty station, or destination. It is very important that you keep
the VIR issued after completing your inspection in case you are stopped by
law enforcement before the remark is removed from your vehicle record, which
takes about 48 hours. The remark will be removed only upon payment of the
state’s portion of the inspection fee and verification of inspection at
your county tax office.
3.如果将来再搬家或者要卖车（a remark will be placed on your vehicle record
indicating that an inspection is still due）这个会有影响吗？这里人多，说不定
碰到过这种情况
另外，德州地址还是有效的，所有各种renew的通知都是可以收到的。
现在就是觉得全换太麻烦，万一将来再回德州的话，所以事情还得重新弄一遍。谢谢各
