I can get casino in about one hour. Also there are tons of casinos in 2~3
hours driving distance.

you want. so it's more profitable than live i guess.
live is tooooo slow, and you play much fewer hands/hr. if you only have a
small edge against average players, small volume of hands will easily be
killed by luck factor.
as a reference, general saying is a good live 1/2NL player makes about ~$15/
hr on average, so a session of 6 hours will only get you about $100, minus
cost(driving, tips, etc.), it's a game you can hard

For live game, I am kind of up/down at this stage. I will usually play NL 1/
2 at local casino weekly or bi-weekly. I would say I am still learning to be
a good player. I guess that is why I did not make any obviously profit yet.
Yes,I probably will switch to online poker considering all the factors. But
live game is really fun to play though. | l*****r

发帖数: 269 | 6 I would say give online poker a try and see how you like it. there are tons
of casinoes around where I live also. but the 6 hr round trip would mean
about 2000 hands of poker online min. really not worth it. I still like
live games very much and often play homegames with friends. and players
online really have a much better understanding and a better skill set. they
make texas hold'em much more interesting and fun.
But the main reason I think live games at casino is not worth it is that
