Admire all those multi-tablers. I can never do that without giving up result
( when I tried multi-table rush, disaster usualy happens)
I was winning steadily from Nov 29th to Dec 4th. On Dec 4th, I lost 1.5 buy-
ins in half hours. I stopped playing and watched DVD. At night I resumed and
get the 1.5 buy-in back.
Dec 5th, the ineventible downswing begins, I got sucked out by 22s pre-flop
all-in. I am holding QQs and get cracked by 22s' 4 card flush. Down 100$,
Then, another hand I lost $80 by hitting nut straight on the turn, only get
sucked out by two pairs and he got full-house on the river.
My hands then never seem hold up. Holding a over pair to the board mutliple
times, calling down vilian's high cards and vilian seems always get what he
needed on the river.
My biggest problem is not about winning, is how to hold up my gains. I have
experienced that multiple times. I learnd and still learning that I need
take a break and stayed away from playing because I am not playing my A game
when I am in the downswing and on tilt.
At the highest, I was down $600. I quitted playing this afternoon and go to
workout, do laundry and clean house. At night I sit down again and told
myself to play my normal game and if I lose one buy-in again, I will quit
playing for a week.
Running pretty good. I gained $400 back in a two hours span and concludes my
Rush week.

Like I said in the other thread. Win rate does not have down swing. Only Bank roll has down swings. If you can never sustain winning profit, then you just don't have a winning rate, plain and simple.
If I run 6bb/100 hand for 10k hand then next 10k i goes -8bb/100 and the
cycle goes on and on. Then I am just a -2bb/100 hand loser over all. I can't say that I am a winning player but I got unlucky on the 10k losing hand. Why does more people think they are winning player in poker than there really are? This is the main reason. When winning, they think they are good. When losing, they think they are unlucky.

发帖数: 7793 | 5 now what does this tell us? If someone plays a lot of hand say 25k hand(
anything less really has no meaning in the winrate), and at the end of day
he is losing and the only reason he can find is unlucky. I will have to tell
him that "i am sorry but not only you are not a winning player, but also
you probably will never turn into a winning player ever".
Now I have played more than 150k hand in NL100. My win rate is terrible even
though I still have a winning record.. But I am confident because i can
find quite a few things i do wrong every day that can be easily fixed, and I
know I am still improving. Now if I can only find that it is because of
luck. I will be seriously worried that I am probably never going to go one
step further than NL100.
Bank roll has down swings. If you can never sustain winning profit, then
you just don't have a winning rate, plain and simple.

intention.
i cant say i am a winning player as i am only up a few thounds for these
year. compared to the time i spent, it is really nothing.
there are a lot of holes in my game but the biggest one is bankroll control.
tilting is another one and they are related. a couple bad beats could set
me on tilt and i stick to computer try to get "my money back" . the result
is i can waste away one week's work in one session.
i am determined to fix that leak. like i said now my solution is quitting
playing until get my head straight. i review my hand history and found a
lot time i am in huge hole because i just play bad after a couple bad beats,
call a lot marginal hads oop, cant lay down hand i clearly felt i got beat,
a lot of bluffs, etc. i run and rerun those hands and replay the hands
based on opponents' hud. i felt i am making some improvements.
every poker player has some egos but now i kind doesn't care if i am good or
bad player. just try to improve my game and win money.

to share with you all. It might help some. It might offend some. It is
internet. It is inevitable.
Ego means nothing in poker. It does not win anyone any money. I have zero
ego in poker believe it or not. My whole goal throughout my one and half
year poker playing is all about improving my game and winning $$. I am
harsh on other's bad play. I am even more harsh on my own poor play. Can't
improve our game without having a critical mind.
