I am not sure how many hands I played since most my game are
HUSNG and I lost my HH during to computer crash.
One of the best hand I played this year is to shove 3 pair on
the board in position for value.
I played with a very loose player. I raised every button, he
got tilted and started to shove most of my raise. I have to fold most of
them. so I started to limp some playable hand on button in order to see flop
and play in position. We played multiple rematch and he made some very
loose call like calling with with Ace high, or K high a lot. He caught lots
of my bluff and won some match.
I limped with 45s on the button, he raised 3x BB out of BB, I
called. flop Q 8 5. He made a small bet on the flop, ( about 20% of pot size
), I called. Turn is a off suit 2, he checked, I checked behind. At this
point, I am quite sure my hand is good most of time , there are flush draw
on the board so he would never check any made hand since he played so
straighforward. but he would call me with Ace high if I bet, so I want to
keep pot small when stack is so short for both of us. River is 8, he checked
again. I am very sure my pair is good and there are many missed draw on the
board. I thought if I shoved there, he would put me on missed draw and
call me with Ace high. So I over shoved the river, he snap called me with KT
.
LOL. I turned a bluff catcher into a value shove.
