S*********e 发帖数: 865 | 1 11 的rush。 离final table很近了,20多万的chips排第5,26个人。
5000/10000.
QQ mp 2.8x,被sb 30多万的leader直接all in。想了一下call了。
他77,flop K69,turn8,river T。
2个小时就拿了60多。double起来就是leader,几乎稳进ft,第一4000多。
真郁闷。 | s*********r 发帖数: 4210 | | f*****g 发帖数: 15860 | 3 no, if he dares to light shove you, you should do the same too, i mean, with
77, which is sth. we might not do that often because we "care" more.
2个小时就拿了60多, this happens a LOT, think about the bubble guys, they
spent about same time as you, but got nothing.
for MTTs, we have to finish top 5, others are meaningless, either 2345th or
129th or 14th, or AA cracked by 22, AK lost to A3...
MTT is all about:
1) 1 big shot in XXX times, not 1 out of 10;
2) get lucky a few times and coin flip a few times, there's simply no "
natural" thing when we hold better hands and always hold up;
3) play a ton of them.

是suck out的...
。 | f*****g 发帖数: 15860 | 7 but if you make one shot, you don't need to play for at least weeks, lol.

average time spent on each MTT. You can see your hourly rate roughly.
nothing but an estimated hourly rate means anything to us.

hours.
for example, gboro780 is virtually the best online player right now, since
he finished 2008 in 2nd place, 2009 1st, and 2010 in 2nd place... with a
combined winning of $3M+ (points only track $200+ buy-in ones). does this
make him a better or worse player than those top online cash game players?
or than those live game players? two areas he admits he's still trying to
learn.

| f*****g 发帖数: 15860 | 12 hehe, all i tried to say was there's almost no point comparing ROI with
hourly rate, or tourney vs. cash game.
for example, dusty mentioned that if you look at a good cash game player's
chart, it may go up and down a little bit, but overall it's upward steadily.
so by calculating hourly rate or xBB/100, you can have a close estimate
how he'd perform during a period. but for tourney players, no such easy
measure at all.
related to what I was saying at all~
