nits get paid off from time to time. when you have very narrow 4 bet range
and make it this big, you are never getting paid off.. With HUD, your
preflop tendency is very clear to people who pay attention. | p****r

I had a very hard time to laydown KK preflop. I got 20 times KK vs AA last
month and ends up losing around 10k. Of course, I got some back when I had
AA. But still shoving with KK is +EV play since you got shoved by AK, QQ,
even JJ so often. I only laid down KK once in Rush since both of us are 200+
deep. A short stack shoved and he showed QQ. :(

发帖数: 7793 | 5 just a thought, when you play with vpip of 11 or less, shoving KK preflop might not be as +EV as shoving KK with a vpip of 20%.
I used to play vpip of 11 7. I felt that every time someone 3 bet me, they have AA KK. well, of course, what do you expect someone 3 bet a nit with? Later when I start to open up my game a bit, people start to calling my 5 bet shove with 9s and 10s, the game just becomes that much easier.
For me personally, I almost never fold KK preflop. This is one of those rare time where I think folding is correct.

发帖数: 9164 | 6 my vpip is one of lowest in Eletro, but I kept got 3 bet by hands like AK,
AQ , even like QT. and when I shoved , they almost never fold AK. Maybe they
think my late pos range are quite wild.( I open any pair, 67s+, AT+, KJ+,
JTs+ in late pos) I got 4 bet quite often by AK or QQ. Only some reg use
these stat. Most player do not even have tracking software. If you play
Electro, you will find out most ppl play AK like AA. Folding KK just lost
too much equality. But I still play QQ like a drawing hand.
I gave myself a thresold for KK preflop. always shove when stack is below
600(150BB), and fold to 4 bet when deeper. A few days ago, I had AA in BB,
there was a UTG limper(a reg). I raised to 30, he reraised me to 70+, I
thought it got be KK, so I shoved, he snap called with AK. We were both 400+
deep.
BTW, what 4 betting range are you considering super tight to make you
laydown KK? For me, below 0.9 is pretty tight. I asked this b4, how many
hands do you need in HEM to make the judgement to fold KK against super nit?

Folding KK preflop is very very hard anway. You got AA vs Kk situaiton
around every 6k hands in a full ring game.(221*221/8) When you play live,
you only play about 30 h/hour. So around every 200 hours live play, you got
KK vs AA once. DN said he only folded once or twice in his whole career.
If you watch Million Dallar Cash game last season, Durrrr opened in EP with
AA, Patrick Anotonio 3 bet with KK, durrr 4 bet, PA snap shoved with KK and
hit a K , of course. They were both pretty deep.
