the guy raise, i know they have a big pair or two big cards, should I go in
with a pair of 9 knowing that. pot odds 12% 7:1? whats winning chancing is a
pair of 9s?

which is rare, to say the least... | s*********f 发帖数: 155 | 5 The chance of hitting a set on the flop is 11.76%. You do have enough pot
odds for hitting a set.
More favorably, you have strong implied odds for getting more bets on the
flop, turn and river, which much more than offsets the unfavorably scenario
of hitting a set and losing to a higher set, straight or flush. In addition,
you usually have an easy decision to make on the flop. You will fold on the
flop if you don't hit a set and overcards flop. You will keep betting and/
or raising and/or check-raising if you hit the set. Ed Miller calls this the
"postflop decision advantage". However, if no overcards flop, you may have
a tough time against higher overpairs.
Snap call.
