2012 Session 2, 01-10-2012 (8PM ~ 12). Up $150.
Game: 1/3, 7 players; Location: Poker Club at NYC.
I bring 2 buy-in ($400). First buy-in was gradually reduced to $120. I
reloaded $200 cuz I felt very comfortable to play last nite and ShouQi was
also good, and I don’t want to loss the chance to rob fishes as I was
playing nit. BUT finally I don’t get the chance with Big Hand Big Pot.
2 fishes of bad crazy LAG players. (including Hand3 player in my last
session: http://www.mitbbs.com/article_t/TexasHoldem/31220303.html; and the guy in this session: http://www.mitbbs.com/article_t/TexasHoldem/31218305.html).
AGAIN, they show down so many middle pair vs. obvious flush/straight/set
with $300+. That happened at least 3 times for both of them last nite. Both
of them bought in 3+ times *$500 last nite.
Fish1 was even finally aftering all-in with fish2 (AK flopped a K) winning $
500+.
Fish2 lost $2000+ in poker, and $2000+ in spots betting. He lost at least $
20K from last Dec. when I played there.

Hand 1: (risky. ~double up)
Fish1 straddle $10. All folded to me at MP, with QQ($440). I raised to $40.
Both fishes called. Nnd, fish2 was so annoying and hard to play with. Call
machine!
Flop is Jc7d5h. fish1 checked. I bet $70. Fish2 called. Fish1 folded.
Turn is 5c. I checked. I thought of your suggestion “Control pot. Get
information from enemy’s betting size”. Surprisely, fish1 didn’t bet.
River is Tc. I said “ok, let’s try another $70.” I just want him to call
instead of raising. He re-raised to $220 (with $200 left). Damn, again!
I called after 2 mins, cuz $150 is acceptable for me compared with a $400
pot, given he is crazy LAG and was very tilted last nite.
He said Eights..Damn. I felt cold to misunderstand that as Aces…
But frankly this is similar situation as my hand4 in session1. So if I need
to gamble $400, I will fold. Is this play correct? Any comment? This is
really the hardest part of my current game.

Hand2: (been bluffed?)
Fish2 ($1000+) straddled $15. I had QQ (again?!!) with ~$700, raised to $50.
Fish2 called, and Heads up.
Flop 387. Fish check-call $50.
Turn 3. Fish bet $100. What can I do? No matter he was bluffing or really
had a set, he would bet hugely at the river. (This fish quite like over-
betting. Middle pair/A-high making pot-size bet. And showed several his
hands!!). I can’t afford to gamble with $400+ for such trick hands. So I
folded.
I asked for his hand? He asked me back. I said TT. He said mine is better.
Several hands later, he said, Haha, don’t fold your TT next time. I re-
asked his hand. He said QQ. 10 mins later. I told him I know you were lying.
He asked why. I said many hints. He seemed angry, and said you have QQ? Why
I can’t had QQ too. Damn, I know I was bluffed at +80% chance, but I still
can’t play with these donkeys. | n***a

hand 2, remembering fish's tendency is more important than remembering pro's
. If he did same thing before several times, i mean flat call flop and donk
bet turn huge and finally show some real hands, u may easily fold ur hand.
Most fishes do not realize they are actually more predictable than others.
haha, and I really XIANMUJIDUHEN that you play cash game with such fishes...

位置有些地方也是随便的，比如mississippi straddle，出SB/BB以外任何人都可以在
任何位置straddle。
有些地方还允许re-straddle，更刺激。

"ex, a player in middle position places a bet . If the action is folded to
the player, the bet he placed acts like a regular straddle and becomes
"live." If, on the other hand, a player in early position calls or makes a
bet, the sleeper straddle becomes nullified and the bet may be taken back,
or serve as a regular minimum raise with no "option.""
上次有个人扔了$1000做sleeper,结果前面的人都fold被搞成了live,然后被LP的QQ给搞死.. |
