I am Chinese, from Taiwan, and living in US.
Speak of how the “World” misunderstand China, I can tell you how we from
Taiwan used to think. I think some of my Americans are still like that.
First of all, the “World” means the western world, not those 1.3 billion
“blue ants” in China, under Communist rule.
We thought all people under Communist rules were brain washed and were all
spies to brainwash us. We were told not to listen to them.
