（中央社華盛頓14日綜合外電報導）美國政府今天向法院提起訴訟，尋求沒收台灣前總
統陳水扁夫婦在當權期間，涉嫌以賄款購買的2棟房產。
美國國土安全部（Homeland Security）助理部長兼移民暨海關執法局長莫頓（John
Morton ）說，今天這項法院提訟，「代表（美國政府）對外國腐敗官員為一己私利而
濫權，然後將賄款放在美國金融系統的警告。」
根據向紐約州和維吉尼亞州法院提出的民事沒收訴訟，台灣某公司為了購併對手，避免
政府干預，向前第一夫人吳淑珍行賄600萬美元。
「彭博社」（Bloomberg）報導，此案應該是元大證券在2005年和2006年間，為了購併
復華金而向陳水扁夫婦行賄。
訴狀上說，吳淑珍把這些賄款透過空殼公司和由其子陳致中與媳婦黃睿靚掌管的瑞士銀
行帳戶洗錢。這些金錢有部份被轉到美國買下紐約曼哈頓和維吉尼亞州凱斯威
