这几天大家谈到交大校友会以及邮件名单的事情，以下的文章第一部分
是有关这个名单的解释，第二部分是我个人关于海外校友联系的看法。
1.有关这个名单的缘起：
2000年5月，本年度出国的BMY(bbs.xjtu.edu.cn)虫虫(约二十人，坐
满两桌)在九龙聚会。酒足饭饱之余，大家谈到交大出国同学各自为
战，老死不相往来，深以为苦。出国之前还可以在托派论坛(TOEFL版
）交流经验，出国之后大家散处各地，人海茫茫，不知相见何日。于
是有人提议，何不建一email list,以便大家日后联络之用。fern和
土狼负责这个email list的整理。从聚会之后到出国，大约一共只有
十几位同学将名单发给我们，除去其中部分同学没有出国，剩下的就
只有七八位，远远少于预期数字，我大失所望(这也是我偷懒的一个
原因，该打！）。刚才chiampanzee发email问我为什么没有A校某某
，B校某某。我也无言以对。
后来billk在yahoo申请了一个mail
group,但是由于种种原因，这个mail group也没有发挥作 | a*****a

list, and you are also be a memeber committee if new
president is still satisifed with your performance... hoho//
Anyway, the states is too huge, alumni of TJ is much less
compared to USTC, THU or Peking. So alumni can not provide
useful help easch other because of different places. BTW,
Tongji alumni like to work hard, not talk too much..

Do you think it really works?
Do you think in that article EMAIL LIST is the purpose?

work hard does not mean good
without communication, how can you know you are doing well?
how can you know the shortcut? how can you know you are on
the way you want?
talk too much does not mean bad
Did you talk to yourself? if you can express your idea
clearly using "talk"
you will find your idea is almost good for you
if you can not talk, I am sure you ar

of high school, now his salary is over 150K, and a big
house, and also have been American Citizenship.. Hoho..So I
know the difference between us, and I want to make up for
it. In fact Shortcuts don't exist, and most of so call
shortcuts of
applying for graduate schools in the states are in fact
cheating or tricks.

and PhD degree are from Ivy League, and now work in the wall
street. Sigh...//
