From there I can ony figure out the that guy received one-year German
languange training at Tongji before going abroad. Have no idea if he is a
Tongji alumnus.

我没听说过.
我可以告诉你如果你在德国工程系想当教授有两个先决条件
1,无需质疑,必须博士学位
2,在工业界工作十年
有时候我看不起美国的教授,因为他们很可能没有在工业界工作过,纯粹的理论派
而德国大学只有教授的职位,其他的都是科研合作者.没有所谓的副教授,助教的职位
教授不退休,就没有空位置
特别是大学C4教授,不仅学问高,更重要的是口才好,交际能力强,不然哪儿来项目
哪儿来的钱养学生.偶对我老板是挺佩服的
当然我说的那个DING教授,是在FH当教授,这类教授只管教学不允许带博士生
相比较UNI的C4教授而言,是要级别低一点.但是也不是这么容易的
我之所以提出这个问题,因为从同济的学科来说,没有当教授的学科优势
数理化,加上信息学,根本无法和北大清华,科大的实力相比
学工科未必要在大学里工作,更多的是在工厂里,比如78年来的那些学生就是多在
西门子工作.

Firstly I talked to Professor zhou zhuyi, the youngest deputy general
secretary of Tongji university, last friday. He attended some academic
seminar in Texas. I mentioned Wu Gang, and professor zhou spoke highly of his
academic and industrail achievements. His strong industrial experience and
research project will rejunvenate our alma mater in the near future..
