1) What is the ordinality (或者 order) of Obama's Presidency?
How many presidents have there been before Obama?
2) Our class has 20 something students.
The size of our class is in the 20's.
1826 | 2 1) How many presidents precede President Obama?
2) Our class size is in the 20s.
We have/There are more than 20 students in our class.

If George Washington is the
1st president of USA, what's Obama's number?
in the (chronical) list of American presidents?
How many presidents precede Obama?
obama.

s*******y 发帖数: 46535 | 5 I asked my office mate yesterday, he agreed that the first one is difficult
to translate since it's not the way how Americans think.
The second one is simple, you can say There are twenty some students in my
class. Note, not "twenty plus" because in theory that can mean over 30.
