新公司benefit enrollment，想加一个short term disability的coverage，但是不太
理解里面的条款，是说过去12个月内被确诊和/或治疗的情况不保吗？如果过去12个月
看过相关的医生做过一些诊断（但没有确诊）也不保吗？
原文如下：
If elected, there is a pre-existing limitation in which you will not be
covered for any disability beginning in the first twelve months caused by
the related medical condition that you were diagnosed and/or treated in the
twelve months prior to the effective date.
