有的rate就是有里程限制的，但是大多数是没有的。
你碰到了是小概率事件，别overgeneralize。
这个问题就好像站在chinatown里问“有没有不是广东裔的美国人么？”一样。

I think smallfox gave perfectly clear answers already.
If you are not ok with the mileage restrictions, you can shop around with
other rental car companies in your areas. Unless you have ONLY one company
in the area? I truly doubt it.
Yours sounds pretty much like Enterprise which is known for the daily
mileage restrictions.

But I want to point out that Enterprise more likely imposes a mileage
restriction, compared with other major rental car companies, based on my
experience.
