I am filling out the IMM 5257 form for my parents, who are staying with me
in the U.S. now. But I am confused about question 7; current country of
residence. Should I put China or USA? The instruction says put the name of
your country of residence, and their definition is this:
Your country of residence is the country in which you are residing,
provided that you have been lawfully admitted to that country.
Does anyone have an answer? | i*n 发帖数: 9793 | 2 china
if holding B2 visa, your parents are visiting, not residing in the US.

But then why in the instruction for the same question, it says:
Your immigration status in that country (indicate one of the following):
Citizen
Permanent resident
Visitor
Worker
Student
Other
Won't it work, too, if I choose US and Visitor? |
