下过来人如何申请英国visa。希望大家提供信息。
1）根据网站，我需要邮寄我的护照和supporting documents 给NY office（绿卡，工
作证明，收入证明，照片，和travel arrangement）。请问绿卡是不是只要复印件？
2）我需要打指纹。请问亚特兰大是否有点？根据网站是说美国USCIS的点。有没有过来
人指导一下
3）一般大概多少时间得到Visa？
4）我申请的是visitor
5）去Scotland是不是用的同样UK的visa？
6）需不需要用worldbridge service？

记得亚特兰大有指纹中心，可能是email里提到的：

The following supporting documents are required:
* your current passport
* your old passport or a copy of it
* If you are in the US - Valid US Immigration Status (originals not

e.g. Permanent Resident Card, Advance Parole Document, H1B visa, F1 with

* Flight reservation/itinerary showing your intended dates into and out
of
the United Kingdom. Do not purchase your ticket before the visa is
issued
* evidence of funds available to you, in the form of detailed bank
statements covering at least the last three months
* either a letter confirming your period of employment from your
employer
together with salary slips for the last three months or a certificate
confirming you have continuing studies or if you are self employed,
evidence
of your business for example company
* If you are resident in another country dealt with by the British
Consulate-General in New York and are not a citizen of that country
please
submit evidence of your legal immigration status
* One recent colour passport photograph (not more than six months old)
