If you carry comprehensive and liability coverage on your personal car,
coverage will extend to your rental car. If you’re renting a car of similar
value to your personal car, in all likelihood the insurance coverages will
be adequate for the rental.
geico2011这个链接似乎解答了这个问题
如果带Geico的全险,组个普通的车,2车价格相似的话,geico的全险可以延伸到租车
上,做primary。
You should also check with the credit card company — the credit card that
you’ll be using for your car rental. If there are any gaps in coverage with
your personal auto policy, the credit card company may provide secondary
coverage
然后付费的信用卡可以做 Secondary | i****4 发帖数: 1906 | 2 Your auto policy will extend to any vehicle that you rent for less than 30
days. Any damage that is caused to the vehicle that you have rented will be
covered under the Comprehensive and Collision coverage. However, you will
be responsible for the deductible that is on the vehicle on your policy.
The vehicle must be rented in the United States, its territories, and Canada
only.
Please keep in mind, the rented vehicle must be classified as a private
passenger vehicle (4 wheel private passenger, jeep, pick-up or SUV).
