现在有几个问题：
（1）香港许可证和入台证申请需要多长时间？官网上说不到一周（大约4天），可是今
天问了代办的，她的要3周甚至更长。到底该信谁呀？
(2)Do I still need 港澳通行证 if i come in HK from Guangzhou?
（3）我从香港去台湾，还需要回北京办台湾通行证/签注吗？Does HK customs check
this document?

发帖数: 1095 | 2 1. never did hong kong entry in US, don't know how long.
Taiwan entry used to take much longer time. I heard it's much faster now,
probably within one week, starting from last year. Call Taiwan office in New
York City （212）317-7382, Mr. Feng, to ask. He is nice but a little mi hu.
2. Depdends on your itinerary and if you have green card.
3. HK customs doesn't check the taiwan documents. But mainland China custom
does check the document when you enter HK from Guangzhou. You need show your
departing flight ticket from HK if you are a green card holder and don't
apply HK entry.
There are two papers related to taiwan entry. One is issued by China, the
other is issued by Taiwan economic and cultural office in US. If you go to
taiwan directly from anywhere else other than mainland China, nobody care
the first paper. But if you leave from China, you better get both because
you have to tell China custom where you are going from HK. Theoretically,
they won't let you pass if you are going to Taiwan and you don't have both
papers.
That said, I was able to do Shenzhen - HK - Taiwan once without the paper
issued by China. But I spent around one hour at China custom to persuade
them to let me go and I was lucky enough. Now I always go to Taiwan directly
from US to avoid any unnecessry trouble.

2. 你从GZ去HK用护照+香港许可的前提是有从香港去第三国（不含台湾）机票。不然
得办港澳通行证或者从非内地地区去香港。
3. 只要你进入香港了 一般可以直接用护照+入台证赴台。

permit?(2) if the first answer is yes,e I can go to HK with HK entry permit,
China customs wouldn't ask me about my future plan (to Taiwan), i can go to
Taiwan from HK only with Taiwan Entry permit, right?

have HK entry permit, i still need the air ticket to Third country? In that
case, why do i need HK entry permit?

不需要签证），入境香港许可同等于港澳通行证，不需要理由和去下个目的地的证明。

A minor problem is Taiwan customs should ask you what flight you take. If
they see the flight is from HK, it's possible that they keep asking where
exactly you are from. If you can't show evidence you make a connection in HK
, you will be asked for the paper issued by China. But my impression is
usually they don't keep asking. Even if they ask and you don't have, most
likely they will let you in if you don't look like a terrorist. In my
itinery Shenzhen - HK - Taiwan, this happened and I didn't have the China
paper, in the end they just let me in. And this is the only time they asked
this question in my experience.
