本人菜鸟一只，没有任何mountain climbing和ice climbing的训练。7月初去俄勒冈玩
儿，想走south sister，不知道可行吗？那时候山上会有很多雪吗？要什么专业的装备
？大概需要多长时间？实在不想在半山上过夜的说。
顺便问一下，还有什么推荐的稍有难度的hike吗？总想小小挑战一下自己。

there.
second day down, snow storm, our tent on summit was buried by snow, the
entire mountain was owned by just two of us. however once get back to town,
it was suuny and 70f.
big mountain has its own weather, regardless of the weather down at lower
elevation. so, take cautious for your trip.

inch.而且，如果积雪，怎么找trail呢？没有gps，会不会很容易就迷路了？心里发慌
呀。

发帖数: 811 | 9 Our trip was back in 2007, 6 years ago. My memory says it was a weekend in
late July/early Aug.
The trail was very easy to follow, with so many people on the trail in a
good day. We had GPS, but only had to use it on the summit the way back,
since the trail track was covered by snow over night. However, probably,
approximately 500 - 800 feet below summit, no gps was needed, as the snow
became rain, the track became visiable again.
