发帖数: 79 | 6 1. Haleakala is good if you like hiking (parents or kids may not like hiking
). We went to the sliding sand trail (not difficult but not easy either)
2. Road to Hana is good if you like driving (parents or kids may not like
sitting in car for long). We took a bus tour because we didn't want to drive
. Very scenic view along the way.
3. Ka'anapali is a nice place to do snorkeling, or just digging the sands
with little ones, or do nothing on the beach just to relax.
4. Molokini is good for snorkeling, but need to book a boat tour and get
onboard very early in the morning
We went to Maui for 5 days:
1 day road to hana
1 day haleakala park and tropical botanic garden
1 day molokini snorkeling/diving and went to kayaking in kihei
1 day Ka'anapali beach and maui ocean center
1 day big beach and luau
Iao Needle is fine but not top choice.
Maui Ocean center is ok but not top aquarium.
Luau could be fun for first timers (more like an experience for local
culture)

if you drive to beach or water activities, then would recommend bringing
your own towels

发帖数: 852 | 9 honolua bay旁边的mokuleia bay是最好的，路边停车，完全的自然保护区没有厕所等

发帖数: 3138 | 10 火山口肯定要看，不是为了hiking, 而是这样的景观实在壮观，这是当地人的神圣所在。
其次当然是 Hana Highway, 沿途都是景点，开车当心点儿，有的地方很窄。
