第一天去Las Vegas落脚。
第二天去Hover Dam，Grand Canyon，住在Flagstaff。
第三天去Antelop Canyon, Horseshoe bend。住Page。
第四条去Canyonland 住Moab。
第五天去Arches，住Moab
第六天去Capitol Reef, Bryce。回Las Vegas
第七天去las vegas附近的red rock和Valley of Fiar state park
第八天回家。
请问这样安排如何，有没有什么重要的地方忘了，有没有哪天活动特别多或者特别少？
skip了Zion，因为Zion特别大，很多hiking。估计很费时间。不知道是不是应该加上。
另外去Zion玩，晚上住在哪里？多谢了。 |

Grand Canyon，住在Flagstaff。next day to page: that's almost an hour of "
return road" but I guess it's fine. More hotels in Flagstaff anyway.
第六天回Las Vegas 第七天去Valley of Fiar state park, also an hour of "
return road" that you traveled on day 6. But hotels are in Vegas anyway (or
you can stay the night at Hurricane or St. George). |

要过几天才能定下来行程。不知道到时候是否还有。不过直接从Grand Canyon去Page也
是个好主意。
另外感谢建议在St. George/Hurricane住宿的建议。以前完全不知道从Moab到LV中间有
什么可以停留的地方。

能玩玩调剂一下？

been to Grand Canyon so I skipped it.
Friday: 6/21
Drive from home to Home2 Suites by Hilton Palmdale, 38750 5th St W, Palmdale
, CA 93551 (5 hrs)
Saturday: 6/22
Drive to Zion (6-7hrs) and stay 1 night at SpringHill Suites Springdale Zion
National Park
Sunday, Monday: 6/23, 6/24
Stay at Zion and SpringHill Suites for another 2 nights.
Tuesday: 6/25
Drive up (2 hrs) to Bryce (daytime) then drive (4.5 hrs) and stay for 1
night at Homewood Suites by Hilton Moab
Wednesday: 6/26
Daytime at Arches National Park and stay at 1 night at Homewood Suites by
Hilton Moab
Thursday: 6/27
Daytime drive to Monument valley (2.5 hrs), then drive to Antelope Canyon,
then drive to St. George stay at Hyatt Place
Friday: 6/28
Drive to Baskerfield and stay at Fairfield Suites
Saturday: 6/29
Driving back Home (5 hrs) |

time at Zion. maybe that is the difference. I have been there once. so I
think the hiking might be too much for kids. will return to Zion when they
are older. Actually I am fine if we can somehow skip arches and find a short
cut from monument valley to Bryce. too much driving and canyon watching for
us. ( When we visited yellow Stone last year, nobody wanted to look at
another geyser in the end.) but I cannot find a short cut.
may I ask which national parks are the drive through type that provide no
hiking opportunities? |

The drive through type is the Monument valley. I don't think you need to
spend too much time over there. Not much to see.
If I were you, I would not skip Arches National Park. We love the park,
especially at the night time to see the milky way/starts.
The Narrows at Zion was closed so that's a pity. We hiked the Angels's
Landing which was really tough. I heard it's tougher than Half Dome. Just a
heads up.

the far north end, all the other places will be 顺路。Then I cannot skip an
ything else. I heard there is a section of the road that is really scenic, b
ut I cannot find it now. Will be great if someone can remind me. Thanks a lo
