stay outside the park. If you come from the south, Oakhurst might be the best
choice. Groveland if from the north, and Mariposa from west. Anything to th
e east of the park is quite expensive. There are also quite a few hotel/motel
s between the Valley and Mariposa.
For Tahoe, Kings Beach, Incline Village, and South Lake Tahoe are common place

managed by national park services, so you can't find it on priceline.
