It depends. Some stores do not accept U.S dollars but some do. I paid U. S.
dollars for a few meals at
China town in Toronto. The exchange rates were different in those restaurants.
You of course should have some Canadian dollars with you. Their bill and coins
are well designed. Don't
you think they are the best souvenirs?
