发帖数: 134 | 1 有网友没常识用圣经利未记11章21-22节来攻击圣经，刚刚大概看了一下。
首先看上下文，20-23节是比较完整的，说的很清楚。用四只脚爬行且有翅膀的昆虫不
能吃，因为对身体不好。创世记中神咒诅蛇在地面爬行且终身吃土。但是蟋蟀是可以吃
的，圣经中也记载了施洗约翰是吃蝗虫和野蜜的。那么蝗虫和其他四足爬行的昆虫有什
么区别呢？就是他们在脚上还有腿可以用来跳跃的，这个就可以吃了。四只脚上面没腿
的有翅膀的爬行的昆虫都当厌恶。
这里说个题外话，前两天参观昆虫展览，看到了百足虫和千足虫，他们差别很大不只是
脚的多少，但是他们只能用脚来爬不能跳跃的。
再说现在科学研究蝗虫等等，有三对足，前两对用于爬行，而最后一对用于跳跃的。所
以也可以说蝗虫等是用四足（前两对）爬行。当然这个只是把现在科研成果用到圣经解
释上的一个合理的猜测而已。
请注意施洗约翰在公元元年左右活动离今2000多年，而摩西写利未记给当时的犹太人是
在公元前1400年左右，距今3400多年，当时人们还没有现代科学提供的分辨手段。要让
没有经过现代科学教育的古人理解，圣经是用生活语言而不是科学语言写成的。这也可
以说明为什么蝙蝠被当成鸟类，而不是跟阿猫阿狗一样分到哺乳类，因为当时还没有这
么分。就像现在的小朋友们在被教育之前，都会认为会飞的如蝙蝠是鸟的一种，而会游
的如海豚是鱼的一种，而不是哺乳动物。
下面是相关经文：
利 11:20 “凡有翅膀用四足爬行的物，你们都当以为可憎。 利 11:21 只是有翅膀用四
足爬行的物中，有足有腿，在地上蹦跳的，你们还可以吃。 利 11:22 其中有蝗虫、蚂

Is this an error -- since insects have six feet, not four, and since "fowl"
have two feet, not four?
The reference to "fowl" is thought by some Skeptics to refer to birds, but t
he word used here is 'owph, which merely means a creature with wings -- it i
s the same word used in verse 21 (flying). The reference in both cases is to
insects.
Now we might call this a poetic phrase (i.e., "crawling around on all fours"
), and this is partially right. But there is an even better - and more corre
ct - answer.
Quite simply, the big back legs on the locust, etc. were not counted as "leg
s" in the same sense as the other legs. Let's use an illustration from Georg
e Orwell's Animal Farm.
In this story, Snowball the pig invented the slogan, "Four legs good, two le
gs bad" so as to exclude humans from Animal Farm society. The geese and othe
r fowl objected, because they had only two legs. Snowball explained (more cl
early in the book than in the movie) that in animal terms, the birds' wings
counted as legs because they were limbs of propulsion, not manipulation, as
a human's arms and hands were.
Now note the differentiation in Leviticus above -- referring to "legs above
the feet" for leaping. The "feet" are being differentiated from the "legs ab
ove the feet" because of their difference in function. They are legs, but in
a different sense than the "four" legs which are just called "feet." We are
being told of two types of legs: The "on all four" legs (which are nowhere
called legs; they are only called "feet" [v. 23]), and the "leaping legs."
It is clear that the Hebrews regarded the two large, hopping hindlimbs of th
e locust and the other insects of the same type, which are the only types of
insects mentioned here (we now translate "beetle" as "cricket"), as somethi
ng different than the other four limbs - perhaps because they were used prim
arily for vertical propulsion, whereas the other limbs were for scurrying ar
ound.
Shifts of terminology like this happen even today; check this proposal to re
define "planet". A helpful reader also noted a similar issue with the "legs"
of the octopus; see here.)
Unacceptable? The alternative is to say that the Hebrews - who ate these thi
ngs raw - didn't see that these bugs had six legs.
Objection: Such insects are sometimes hard to find, and some cannot be found
for up to decades at a time. So it's possible they did make such a mistake.
Not all such insects disappeared entirely for any length of time, and the au
thor of Leviticus, by virtue of his literacy, clearly within the context of
the ancient world had to be someone with a few years under his belt. There i
s no way it can be claimed that he happened to live in a timeframe when ther
e were never and insects of this type around, or no one who knew better.
I did a little private survey and found out that a few people, even intellig
ent ones, did not know that insects had six legs.
All this really shows is that people aren't getting a decent science educati
on...not that this is relevant anyway, since it is doubtful that any of them
ate insects as part of their regular diet and had them constantly in their
face as the Hebrews did.What other "winged insects with four feet" (11:23) c
ould there be?
The last pair of legs of many winged insects are specially designed for jump
ing or "lifting off" and therefore serve a differing function than the other
four legs. With millions of species of insects in the world it seems rather
presumptuous to try to select just a few and claim that these make a hash o
f Lev. 11:23. But let's just take one as an example.
Here there is a site on the anatomy of the honeybee. The picture shows clear
ly enough that the rear legs present an entirely different orientation than
the other four. More technically, they serve a different function and have a
different structure:
[T]he hind legs differ from the other legs in their larger size and broad fl
attened form. These legs differ in size in the queen, worker & drone. It is
only the worker that collects pollen and places it in the pollen baskets on
these hind legs. The legs have long curved hairs. The space enclosed by thes
e hairs is called the pollen basket. The worker bees carry pollen to the hiv
e storing in these conclave shaped hind legs. The pollen is collected from t
he body by the front and middle legs and deposited on the large flat brushes
on the inner surfaces of the hind legs. Each of which is covered by 10 tran
sverse rows of stiff spines projecting backwards.
Although these legs are used to walk (even as the grasshopper's can be and a
re), in function and appearance they are clearly, vastly different. The Hebr
ews were just as able (and by extension of the same scheme used with grassho
ppers, katydids, etc) to regard the back legs of other types of flying insec
ts as being of a different order, of being something different, so that only
the first four were called plain old "feet" as only the first four on the h
oppers, etc. were called feet, while the others were given a differing name
such as "legs above their feet".

你去找个和我给你类似的那样清晰的，用“六足爬行”，而不是运动是翅膀和后面一对
