First of all, to control the frequency tracker, you need find the programming
manual for it. You can find sort of commands for different operation. This is
the most important part. Secondly, the way to communicate with 488 is quite simple.
The set of commands for that is very small. Basically, it is writing and reading
the corresponding port. All the commands of frequency tracker are sent to 488
