SPRINGFIELD, Ill. - Illinois' Republican Party chairman says Senate
Democratic leaders' decision to seat Roland Burris proves the state "is in
dire need of change."
Illinois GOP chairman Andy McKenna issued a statement Monday shortly after
Democratic U.S. Senate leaders announced they would accept Burris. The
former Illinois attorney general was appointed to the U.S. Senate late last
