The rest of the world loves to berate Americans with endless insults: obese,
ignorant, and uneducated. To some extent, they’re right. Our education
system is pitiful, and I won’t comment on the obesity statistics. We all
know the story there. But there’s one characteristic where Americans
dominate the world intellectually: economic philosophy.
Many U.S. citizens are remarkably well spoken on matters of free enterprise
