The U.S. Air Force has awarded Lockheed Martin Corp. with a $70 million
contract for long lead items for seven special operations C-130J aircraft,
DefenseNews reported.
The work is expected to be completed during calendar year 2016.
Lockheed has operated Albuquerque's Sandia National Laboratories for the
U.S. Department of Energy's National Nuclear Security Administration
since 1993.
