It is pretty clear that Romney proposes to simply the tax code --- which
makes perfect sense --- The US tax code is way too complicated and therefore
embodies too many loopholes.
老罗应该会eliminate很多deduction items, 但我不认为他会取消MID. 这个MID是美国
房市的重要driver之一，而housing market又是a key in economic recovery. 老罗直
面经济问题，他又是个businessman,应该能看得清这一点。任何人作总统，都不会轻易
取消这个deduction, 特别是在整体经济状况糟糕的情况下。

OK, MID cannot be eliminated, personal examption cannot be eliminated, what
else left? Only local tax and property tax. Property tax is also linked to
housing market, so it cannot be eliminated too according to your assumption. |

BTW, the president does not control the tax code. GOP congress members
overall (DEMs as well) are not in favor of eliminating this important tax
break. So, little to worry about.

If you study the tax code, there are tons of deductions/credits that are
essentially paychecks to the negros/amigos.

deduction; and you could use your charitable deduction, your home
mortgagededuction, or others — your healthcare deduction. And you can fill
that bucket, if you will, that $17,000 bucket that way," Romney said in an

但是没有公开任何实质内容，铁杆挺他的都说不清楚他上台后到底会实行
什么政策，你让其他人怎么判断？
Romney应该把过去十年的税表公布出来，把具体的政策政纲公布出来，不要
让大家在那里猜来猜去。想当总统不能靠嘴皮子骗，被奥巴马骗过一次就一
定要被Romney再骗一次吗？
