• Appointed an unprecedented number (4) of Asian American Cabinet
members, including Secretary of Energy Steven Chu, former Secretary of
Commerce Gary Locke (now Ambassador to China), Secretary of Veterans Affairs
Eric Shinseki, and Cabinet Secretary Chris Lu.
• Five Asian American presidents and 3 provosts were appointed in

Senator John McCain: Failed to respond**
** In spite of diligent and persistent efforts on the part of 80-20 to
engage in dialog.
SPECIAL NOTE: Notwithstanding the earnest efforts to intercede on 80-20’s
behalf by Republican leaders, including Senator Dan Evans (WA) and
Congressman Mike Castle (DE), and major Asian American contributors to the
McCain campaign, including CC Yin of the San Francisco Bay area, 80-20
deeply regrets Senator McCain’s steadfast refusal to even begin a dialog,
or acknowledge or share Asian American’s legitimate civil rights concerns.
80-20 is sincerely interested in reaching out to and working with Republican
and Democratic leaders alike. Our quest for equal rights is fundamental and
has nothing to do with party affiliation. Which is why we are a NON-
PARTISAN organization at the start. As time goes on, and if one party sends
clear signals that it does not share our rightful concerns as aggrieved
American citizens, then that party’s leaders shall face the consequences of
its actions/inactions at election time. The respective actions of each of
the presidential candidates on the 80-20 questionnaire, both Democratic and
Republican, speak louder than any lofty words and speaks for itself.
80-20 urges its supporters to NOTE the respective candidate’s clear stance
on our quest-for-equal-rights questionnaire and to cast their votes
accordingly.

Obama有很多政策我也不赞成，但他是确实为亚裔做了实事的。请你说说共和党为亚裔
做了哪些实事？比如任命了几个部长和联邦法官？

人走的。
不过你这个版主也是太容易嫉妒了，投票最重要是看自己能得到什么，你老盯着看劳模
能拿到什么干什么？这种心态就是损人不利己的心态，无论在政治上，还是日常工作上
有这种心态的人都不会成功的。你这个版主应该改改自己的人生态度了。
