It's not "if Obama gets reelected, the American democracy won't survive
another term," like another commenter said. It's that an America that can
reelect Obama is a Constitutional Republic that has already died: ignorance,
apathy, envy, racialism and clientelism will have replaced Americans' chief
business which is to remain their own masters (Tocqueville).
Heck, even the polls being so close tell me that we are well on the way to
that reality. With 8% unemployment, $4 gas, a 16 trillion debt, 1 trillion
deficit, high cost of living, mounting racial tensions, scandals and
coverups at home and a world on fire abroad, we would reelect a petulant,
incompetent community organizer on record as saying he'd want energy prices
to skyrocket, who has spent $5 trillions in 3 years and thinks we haven't
spent enough, who stokes racial flames like I've never seen in my lifetime,
who has a criminally incompetent foreign policy, bows to foes and dictators,
throws allies under the bus, and has money for building recharging stations
for Chevy Volts in the US embassy in Austria but not for answering the
request for security for the US ambassador in Libya--then engages in a
massive, disgraceful coverup once the ambassador gets sodomized and murdered
? Yep, that's the man I want more of for my beloved country.
I tell you one thing for sure: if we elect Romney, there will be no time at
all for complacency. We need to start educating the electorate--and fast--
and turn around our national conscience from the brink of the kind of soft
apathy of which Tocqueville warned. | l****z

Tards could never understand that one they pick entering white house is a
BAD thing not only for their enemies, but also themselves. Like those who
monkey-jumped this board, they draw a circle around themselves and viciously
defend their "belief". They may have large number of people with them in
the circle, but they together makes nothing but a backward retrogression
into the darker history of past. They're still in the woods. All in all
inspires your thinking: are they for evolution ? or against it? If they are
for it, they should give up dragging down everyone with them to the abyss
well-nigh.

today. If Obama takes office again, there will be no come back for
Republican, and American, forever. Every entitlement Obama enacted will be
impossible to remove, and republican will never be in office again because
the population of poor people reached a "critical mass", that people will
always prefer president who offers "freebies".
Yes, it's that serious and dangerous. I am in California, and I support
Romney. Usually I won't vote, as my vote does not matter since California's
poor population already reached a "critical mass" to secure the electorate
for Democratic. But this year, I decide to vote, even my vote does not make
a difference, but I am afraid my vote could COUNT, just in case. Just in
case, buddy. |
