Besides, when people contribute, we reward them with money. Give them an
"honor" like what we do in China, is fucking insulting their intelligence!
Money is what I pay for your service, Period. So if you give money to the
country, you are contributing to the country. Don't tell me those great
scientist, artist, sportman, Police, Marine, who contribute a lot too. Heck,
they are already paid for their service! They volunteer to do that, which
means they think it's fair to exchange that much of money for their service!
2. Kids with rich parents are supposed to have a higher hand, a better
starting point. This is the nature of human being. Whoever want to change
this will not succeed.
I am from a very poor family, and envy those kids, and thought it was
unfair. I thought the inherit tax should be 100%, thus make sure all kids
have the same level of play ground. But I realize immediately it won't work.
People doing well, when they are 40, 50, they will stop working. They keep
working because they want to leave something to their offsprings, ask all
the Chinese parents.
So humanbeing are selfish, and they always want to protect their
offsprings.You can not change that.
And you need to use the "Selfishness" to push the world forward. Anything
based on people's "good will" will not work, I think you knew it already.
So, people who do not contribute, should have lesser vote! People who
contribute more should have more votes!

Not all people are like you. Many of them want a decent payment from working

eligible to vote. The same spirit should be extended to the politics today,
with some modifications for sure.
Since most of the people can read/write, the bar should be lifted. I
propose only the people pass GRE can vote. :)
Well, seriously, I think each candidate should publish a booklet stating
what he/she want to do and why. And an independent agent should compile a
big test bank on the major candidate's opinion and background, plus some
basic IQ/math/common sense test.
Now anyone wants to vote must take an standard test, and he/she is eligible
only if he pass the test.
The baseline is: Voting is a right, and you need to earn it.

1. Soldiers. They don't make much, so what? this only means their does not
worth much! Don't tell me those people becomes a marine because they love
the country, that's just crap. They join the marine because it pays well,
and the welfare. We just need to raise the salary a little bit, we got
enough soldiers. Soldiers are nothing special than a programmer. Heck, if it
becomes too expensive, we can outsource job. In history, hiring foreigners
to fight for you is a very common practice.
Bottom line is: Soldiers are our bodyguard, we paid for their service,
does not need to feel we owe them anything.
2.Teachers. Same as soldiers. Again, if nobody wants to be a teacher, raise
the salary!
3. Community volunteers. This one get me laugh. The fact that they are doing
it for free, already tells me they service worth nothing! Or they already
get paid by the "experience!".
Why do you think these kindof people should have a good or better life than
a waiter in a restaurant? It's a free market, we will buy service from
anybody who can sell. Somebody found being a soldier is the best way for him
to improve his life style, maybe because he does not know anything else
other than FIGHT?
Rich people don't do anything but enjoy life? Are you kidding me? The fact
they are RICH, already told me two things:
1. They must work very hard when they are young, now it's time for them to
enjoy. It's called FAIR.
2. Their parents work really hard, and give him a lot money. In this case,
their parents worked for them! You can't complain either, just like you are
doing everything you can to buy your son a house, make sure he is married,
and buy a car for him. If you could, you will also leave him a lot of money,
so he can just enjoy life by doing nothing.
You only see people are rich, but don't see why they are rich.
If you are saying, people do not get the money in a fair way, like those
officials in China, that's a different topic. There are always criminals in
every class, as matter fact, more criminals in "poor" people than "rich"
people.
Acknowledge that rich people deserve a better life, and encourage every body
to work hard to becomes a rich people, thus the world is better. Reward the
lazy ass, will only create more lazy asses, thus world will become worse.
