Stock markets are closed, schools shuttered and many evacuated from low
areas as NYC and the East Coast ready for Sandy. Despite preparations the
sustained nature of the expected winds over several days will cause damage
and power outages.
Hurricane Sandy is overshadowing the Presidential race with rallies
cancelled and candidates tempering their message with concern for storm
victims.
Here in NNY, preparations are afoot for remnants of the storm expected
