the issues Ron Paul raised, but because Obama's community organization- his
election team is one of the most efficient, passionate and strategic teams
in history.
I supported both Hillary Clinton and Romney in 2008 within each of their own
parties. But I think both lost to Obama not because they are less smart or
capable than Obama- in fact, they are probably both smarter, more capable
and work harder. But Obama knows how to make people working for him best. He
won me over this way. I look forward to the next four years. |

massive voter data.Very impressive but a little creepy.
I think Obama's base may be smaller,but their GOTV effort made the key
difference.
I wonder why GOP did not adopt that approach since 2008.

在这次选战中，我注意到GOP仍然把大量的资金和人力投入到电视广告的地毯式轰炸中
- 这可是上一代和上上代的宣传技术手段。
还有一个例子是不重视提前投票的动员，仍然迷信选举日的turn out。而提前投票的好
处是不言而寓的：
1. 免得夜长梦多，让倾向于自己的选民没有跳票的可能。
2. 可以集中火力对付更少的未下决心的选民群，而自己的对手还只能没有重点地撒大
网。
3. 在宣传上先声夺人。
4. 让投了票的选民有一种上了贼船就要挺到底的感觉，能更投入地为自己助选拉票。
5. 减小选民因为大选日的不确定因素（天气、突发事故、拥挤的投票点，等等）而无
法投票的风险。
总之，这一次失败，GOP的竞选团队不光从战略上，在战术上也有很多需要反省的地方。
