Now that Obama has thrown him under the bus, the sycophant media will try to
discredit anything he testifies about if it goes against the White House
party line. But now a public citizen, let’s hope he feels free to actually
tell the truth this time and not peddle the absurd YouTube video nonsense.
Former CIA Director David Petraeus has agreed to testify about the Libya
terror attack before the House and Senate intelligence committees, Fox News
has learned.
Petraeus had originally been scheduled to testify this Thursday on the
burgeoning controversy over the deadly Sept. 11 attack.
That appearance was scuttled, though, after the director abruptly
resigned over an extramarital affair.
Lawmakers, though, complained that the scandal was no reason they
shouldn’t hear from the man at the helm of the CIA when CIA operatives came
under attack alongside State Department employees in Benghazi last month.
Look for Democrats to make a full-court press to keep his testimony
classified so they can control the media narrative. Maybe when Obama is
facing all those tough questions today someone will ask about Petraeus in
his Benghazi role and not about his love life. Now, when will the famed wine
taster be testifying? | l******t
