这次CNN还算客观了，Jefferson带枪散步，
"Let your gun therefore be your constant companion of your walks."
Jefferson considered carrying a gun with him a great form of exercise, which
he wrote in a 1785 letter to his 15-year-old nephew, Peter Carr.
Just before this quote in the letter, he explains why: "While this gives a
moderate exercise to the body, it gives boldness, enterprize, and
independance to the mind." (And, yes, those are Jefferson's spellings.)
俺一直和Jefferson在这个观点上是相似的，武器给人更多的责任，独立和自由（这个
顺序俺选择了，一个不能对自己和众生负责的人，就不能独立，没有责任和独立，其实
根本就谈不上自由）。这一点远远胜过现实中的防身意义。 |
