l****z 发帖数: 29846 | 1 Jonathan Gruber, the architect of Obamacare, again has been found bragging
to listeners in a 2012 speech that the Obamacare bill was created on the
basis that the average voter “has a lack of economic understanding.”
Western Journalism has covered Gruber extensively since the surprise Supreme
Court action of bringing Obamacare under scrutiny again.
Now, a third video has emerged of Gruber again claiming that the American
people are too stupid to see that the Obamacare bill is pulling the wool
over their eyes.
“It’s a very clever, you know, basic exploitation of the lack of
economic understanding of the American voter,” Gruber said to the
University of Rhode Island.
He was speaking about the Cadillac tax and how it came to be when the “
second hero arose” in John Kerry, who said “we’re gonna tax those evil
insurance companies.”
By doing so, the general public mistook the removal of a tax break, and
thought they were getting a tax increase.
“You just can’t get through, it’s just politically impossible,”
Gruber continued in his speech.
The purpose of the Cadillac tax, Gruber claims, was to force the “
overinsured” people to cut back from their benefits and, in doing so, save
about $250 billion.

These statements come in the wake of recent footage of Gruber stating that
Obamacare was only passed because the transparency of the bill was so bad
that people couldn’t understand it. Initially calling the American people
stupid, he also claimed that a lack of transparency is a “political
advantage.”
Trey Gowdy has come forward recently, joining Megyn Kelly in slamming Gruber
for claiming the American people are too stupid and saying it’s not the
public’s job to read thousands of pages from the law.
Gowdy said that if the American people are so stupid, what happened last
Tuesday with the Republicans capturing the Senate proves that they are not–
and that they want Obamacare gone. | T*********I 发帖数: 10729 | 2 第二个视频在这里,0:45
